Sister Says: Full Like The Moon
Thanks to its first-rate reputation and countless recording credits, Space Studios has become a staple on the Vancouver music scene. Operated by a handful of local musicians, the studio is known as much for its comfortable and collaborative environment as it is for the talented technicians who run it. It’s exactly the kind of place Sister Says always dreamed of laying down a track.
On July 21, 2016, that dream became reality.
Fronted by sibling duo Gillian and Rob Thomson, and accompanied by guitarist Lonny Eagleton and drummer Max Ley, the local pop group entered the studio with big ideas and high expectations. Sure enough, the mutual respect, synergetic atmosphere and positive vibes – not to mention the experience and expertise of producer/engineer Daniel Klenner – resulted in a successful session and a soulful recording of Full Like The Moon.
