Revolutions Per Minute
Thanks to platforms like Revolutions Per Minute, the future of Indigenous music culture has never been brighter.
In addition to their strong online presence and growing record label, they host RPM Live, a curated concert series that creates spaces for emerging Indigenous voices to be heard. In the past few months alone, they’ve collaborated with Pop Montreal for a special concert starring the legendary Alanis Obomsawin and Ansley Simpson, showcased talent like Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Dio Ganhdih, Chhoti Maa in NYC, and more.
In the latest DD Spotlight, we follow the RPM Live series from Montreal to NYC and catch up with RPM co-founder Jarrett Martineau.
