A bit about myself:

I’m a Blackfoot artist from Siksika Nation who enjoys making music, mostly rock and hip hop. I enjoy songwriting and playing guitar as well as making hip-hop beats. I’m also the CEO and producer of Down Beat Productions.

Musical influences:

Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, The Doors, Guns N’ Roses, Chris Cornell (Audioslave), Cory Taylor (Slipknot, Stonesour), Godsmack, Killswitch Engage, Metallica, 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

The first album I bought:

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s Creepin On Ah Come Up (CD). My first cassette might have been a Guns N’ Roses album or Offspring’s Smash album. Possibly a Dance Mix 90-something.

The first concert I went to:

Silversun Pickups.

The last concert I went to:

Smashing Pumpkins.

The last song I listened to:

Ol’ School Newbie by Northern Cree.

My favourite song of all time:

Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix.

The one song I wish I’d written:

End of Heartache by Killswitch Engage.

My dream gig:

I’d like to play in a rock band and tour with a band like Godsmack or Killswitch Engage.

Myself in three words:

I Get It.

Best piece of advice I’ve ever received:

“Keep goin’.” –  Grandpa

Down Beat Productions…I got this!

Beatles or Rolling Stones:

Rolling Stones.

What I do to pay the bills:

I’m a shelter support worker for Siksika Shelter.

When I’m not making music, I’m …

Spending time with family and friends or playing Xbox.

Something people would be surprised to learn about me:

I can bead.

What I’m currently working on:

Hip-hop collaborations and a rock album.

If my life were a song, the title would be …

No Turning Back.
