In Focus: Indigenous Day Live 2018

On June 23, APTN threw an epic National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration in not one, not two, but THREE cities.

While Indigenous Day Live (formerly Aboriginal Day Live) featured a full day of activities for the whole family – including a pow wow, a round dance, local artisans, food vendors, games and more – the highlight was the music lineup. With more than 30 acts including William Prince, Midnight Shine, Sister Says, Kelly Fraser, Lido Pimienta, Shawnee, Logan Staats, Kardinal Offishall, Ria Mae and Walk Off The Earth, there was a whole lotta talent and a little something for everyone.

Here’s a look back at some of the highlights.
