Aboriginal Day Live 2017 in Winnipeg

With stages set up in eight host cities, APTN took this year’s Aboriginal Day Live celebration to the next level and made broadcast history with a national seven-hour live show.

Broadcasting live from The Forks, the Winnipeg lineup featured emerging local talent like Skyler, Sonia Eidse, the Chuck Copenace Group and Renee Lamoureux, as well as Burnt-Project 1, Daniel Roa, the Asham Stompers, Nunavut beat-boxing phenom Nelson Tagoona, electronic pop group Neon Dreams, and headliner Nelly Furtado.
